Microlearning Workshops
The Microlearning Workshops are part of the efforts of the Research Studios Austria Forschungsgesellschaft to offer instruction and training on the use of microlearning solutions and the processes of change resulting from their implementation. The workshops are offered around the world. The language of instruction is English.
Introduction to MicroLearning - Learn how to use ML in your organization!
Throughout our lives, we all have to keep learning. The evolution of organizational services has increased the training requirements for both agents and users. Gaining know-how and putting it to good use require daily learning efforts.
MicroLearning is an innovative approach which integrates learning into the daily work-flow, allows users to take lessons step by step and makes continuous learning easy.
Workshop participants will be introduced to the MicroLearning approach, the new pedagogy of splitting large amounts of learning material into microcontent, and the technological platform of the KnowledgePulse® as a way to enhance sustainable capacity building in organizations.
Who should attend?
Decision-makers and managers involved in eLearning projects, knowledge management professionals,
human resources managers, consultants, IT managers, leaders in the public sector and administration, as well as anyone responsible for the coordination or realization of training activities in organizations.
How will You and your organization benefit?
This two-day seminar will enable you to increase the efficiency of your training programs. You will learn how to get a better return on your training investments with employees, associated agencies and company partners. The course will provide practical advice on how to make learning easy and effective.

Microlearning Summer Schools
The Summer School programmes are designed for professionals in the field of e-learning, project implementation and process management. They are part of the microlearning teaching efforts of the Research Studios Austria. Graduates will receive the title "Qualified (1st level) Microlearning Project Administrator".
The idea
The Microlearning Summer Schools focus on the challenges the changing digital media environment is posing for corporate training, academic learning, and self-learning.
In a world of mobile PCs and mobile phones with nearly permanent connections to the Internet, old e-learning no longer works. It was and still is macrolearning: too large, too static, too difficult and expensive to produce, demanding too much time and attention from users caught in a daily struggle with "information overload".
The new digital media environment of workers and learners is based on the circulation of microcontent in multiple forms, such as SMS, RSS feeds, YouTube video clips, and many more.
The Microlearning Summer School will show you how to design and evaluate new microlearning experiences, built from small, self-contained pieces of information, designed for the new type of "continuous partial attention" which is the consequence of the new mobile lifestyles and digital workstyles.
The opportunity
The Microlearning Summer School offers you the unique possibility to learn and practice with international experts in the field of microlearning and to experience the creativity of a group dedicated to making learning easy and effective.
Timeframe
Two weeks of hands on workshops, lectures and projects!
